1. You don't have to love the entire process
There are parts of are pottery process that we love and there are parts that we don't enjoy for Casey she found that she really enjoyed the decorating process so she puts more of her focus to decorating and she does that by getting rid of wheel throwing and using slip casting instead
2. Making For Yourself Not For Others
The most important thing you can do with your pottery especially if you want to find your voice is to make for yourself first Casey gave the example how during her early years on her pottery journey she would make what she thought people would like but when she started making for herself that when her pottery and business grew
3. Making Things That Make You Giggle
One of things that Casey does that I really love is she will make pottery that makes her giggle or laugh she doesn't worry about if other people will like it if she finds something that interesting she will make and just enjoy her creation
